Donating through Workplace Giving can achieve so much – the future for many children may seem hopeless but together we can lift them out of poverty.
Workplace Giving through the Lasallian Foundation gives you the opportunity to change people’s lives by supporting long-term sustainable development projects.
Workplace Giving is a three way partnership between employees, employers and the Lasallian Foundation. It offers employees a convenient way to donate to the Lasallian Foundation. Programs are transparent, trustworthy and avoid costly fundraising. Donating in this way is easy and tax effective. Employees who choose to donate through payroll, do so in pre-tax dollars and enjoy immediate tax benefits.
Employers can also match employee donations or donate a set amount, giving employers success with the community aspect of corporate social responsibility. Workplace giving can strengthen employee recruitment, loyalty and retention levels and requires minimal work from payroll administration and is cost effective.
With senior leadership support and a network of champions, Workplace/Payroll Giving programs are rapidly become a positive employment feature.
For the Lasallian Foundation, Workplace Giving programs greatly reduce our fundraising and administrative costs and allows for more effecting planning.
There are five easy steps for organising your payroll donation:
- Check with your employer and confirm they support Workplace Giving.
- Download the Workplace Giving Authorisation Form (available soon) and give the completed form to your payroll manager.
- Instruct your payroll manager to deduct your nominated donation amount from your pre-tax salary each pay period.
- Ensure your payroll manager has the correct bank account details for them to transfer your donation:
- Account name: Australian Lasallian (Asia/Pacific) Foundation Limited
- BSB: 013 350
- Account Number 4890-00187
- Request the payroll manager to forward the authorisation form to us.
TESTIMONIALS
“I figure that I spend more on coffee so the least I could do is give a little to help such worthwhile causes in underprivileged communities. It’s so easy via payroll giving and I know my regular contributions help the exceptional work the Lasallian Foundation is doing.”
Katrina Gooding, Oakhill College NSW
“Education is a basic human right. I have been fortunate to work with Lasallian teachers in Sri Lanka and India who lack the basics – books, writing materials, equipment. Knowing that a regular financial donation could realise these basics for a fellow educator helps poor children access their right to an education.”
Chris Goodman, Oakhill College NSW
“This is my way of helping children through the Lasallian Foundation and they are able to help the children in many more ways than I could do individually. It’s so easy to have the payment deducted from my salary”.
Jenny Rochford, St Bede’s College, VIC
